The Sacrament of Annointing

At Christ the King Parish, we always keep our sick and homebound in our thoughts and prayers.  We urge those soon to face hospitalization or dealing with long-term physical and emotional illness to receive the Lord’s healing through the Sacrament of Anointing before a critical or emergency situation arises.

The Sacrament of Baptism

Our Parish celebrates the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) on a regular basis. In addition, Baptisms for children are celebrated on the third Sunday of the month at 11:15AM (English) and 12:00pm (Haitian), except during Lent. Throughout the Easter season, baptisms are celebrated exclusively at Parish Masses. Please download The Sacrament of Baptism and Why Catholic Godparents Need to be Confirmed for more information.

The Sacrament of Confirmation

Our Parish prepares teens and adults for the Sacrament of Confirmation through a two-year program. Adult confirmation (for those who have already received baptism and Eucharist) is handled separately and requires only six weeks of preparation.

The Sacrament of the Eucharist

The source and summit of our Christian life is found in the celebration of Holy Eucharist where we commemorate the saving acts of our Lord Jesus Christ and share in his enduring real presence through Holy Communion.

The Sacrament of Marriage

Congratulations! We at Christ the King Parish rejoice in the love you have found for each other and in the Lord. We hope that the following basic information will make the planning for your wedding as stress-free as possible. For more information, please download The Sacrament of Marriage and  the Marriage Preparation Supplement. As you move forward, you’ll need to contact the Parish Office at 508-586-1575.

The Sacrament of Penance

Although none of us want to be overly burdened by guilt, it is just as problematic to ignore that sin and evil exist in our world and in our hearts. To address our sin and guilt, the church has the Sacrament of Penance. Through the reception of this sacrament and a sincere willingness to do penance, we receive the powerful and saving grace of our Lord’s forgiveness.
